Van Wert City Council will hear industrial-rezoning requests Oct. 26 for about 684 acres in Ridge Township and 156 acres in Pleasant Township, the Van Wert Independent reported.El Concejo Municipal de Van Wert oirá el 26 de octubre solicitudes de rezonificación industrial para unos 684 acres en el municipio de Ridge y 156 acres en el municipio de Pleasant, informó el Van Wert Independent.

CORRECTION — THE PURMORT TRACT’S OWNERSCORRECCIÓN — LOS DUEÑOS DEL TERRENO PURMORT The first printing of this story (No. 84, Oct. 21) said Charles and Margaret Purmort own the smaller tract. The owners are Charles and Barbara Purmort, as the city’s Aug. 24 Planning Commission notice says. The wrong first name came from another outlet’s report, which the paper did not check against the city’s record. Corrected in a later printing of this edition, Tuesday, Oct. 27.
