His new album, “Never Be The Same,” came out May 15 on Royal Potato Family: 10 songs, his first collection of original material since 2020, produced by David Mansfield. Thompson is the son of the British folk musicians Richard and Linda Thompson; the album’s credits list his father on the guitar riff of “Make Up Your Mind.” The album’s first single is “So This Is Heartache.”Su nuevo álbum, “Never Be The Same”, salió el 15 de mayo con el sello Royal Potato Family: 10 canciones, su primera colección de material original desde 2020, producido por David Mansfield. Allowing for the fact that I’m playing many of these band arrangements solo, mostly the feel has stayed the same on all the tracks.
