ODOT’s new Putnam County garage in Ottawa gives its trucks room to move. ODOT opened it Oct. 26 by driving a snowplow through the ribbon. At the old garage, built in 1979, “the trucks barely fit in the building,” Chris Hughes, ODOT District 1’s deputy director, told The Lima News. “We can get all the trucks in at one time,” Paul Lehman, ODOT’s transportation manager for Putnam County, told WLIO.El nuevo garaje de ODOT en Ottawa, condado de Putnam, les da espacio a sus camiones. The shop has three bays, so mechanics can leave a truck up on a lift while they wait for specialized equipment.
