Lima's fire chief and the consultants who wrote the city's fire station study told council on Oct. 26 that three new fire stations would cost about $46 million. The consultant said the figure is meant to be all-in, covering architects, engineering, permits, furnishings and a contingency, and that the one cost left out is buying land.El jefe de bomberos de Lima y los consultores que escribieron el estudio de estaciones de la ciudad dijeron al Concejo el 26 de octubre que tres estaciones nuevas costarían unos $46 millones. The core plan, as presented, would replace the central station at about the same spot, build a station on the west side and then take the south-end station out of service. Council members asked that the study go to the Safety Services committee.
