Every dollar Erie County’s general fund took in during 2024, and what it paid for. The general fund pays for the county’s day-to-day work; the county nursing home (care facility), the landfill, the sewer and water systems, and the county’s dedicated funds for roads (motor vehicle and gasoline tax), developmental disabilities, alcohol, drug addiction and mental health services, job and family services and children’s services run on their own funds and are not in this picture. Most of the $13.1 million in “other” revenue is the county’s federal pandemic-relief fund repaying the general fund for earlier sheriff salaries and a jail heating and cooling project, per the audit.Cada dólar que recibió el fondo general de el condado de Erie en 2024, y en qué se gastó.
