Every dollar Monroe County’s general fund took in during 2025, and what it paid for. The general fund pays for the county’s day-to-day work; the senior citizens millage, the county health department, opioid-settlement and pandemic-relief money, the delinquent-tax and foreclosure funds and the jail commissary run on their own funds and are not in this picture. The Road Commission and the library system are separate bodies with their own budgets.
